Workday coming Saturday March 4th with a rain date of March 5th

Hello DLV enthusiasts!

We have our first DLV workday scheduled for Sat March 4th at 10am to 4pm.

We have 4 projects to undertake:

1)Clean out concessions and bike room

2)Leaves from behind concessions and bike room moved to curb

3)Pressure wash outside of boards from turn 1 to turn 4

4)Bike Room bike issues identification and fixed if possible

Team Eckles p/b Dewalt attached the mural more securely to the concessions and reinstalled the awning.

Team Egetter pushed to completion by HIck’sy was able repair the boards coming out of turn 4:

Team Bailie was able to get the leaves to the curb and clear debris!

Our next workday will be Saturday March 4th with more details coming soon!

Dick Lane Velodrome Awards Get-Together

***** UPDATE*******

Unfortunately Chairs is closed for plumbing maintenance on Sunday. We will be moving to Ethic Inc a half block down 1608 West Cleveland.

 

Awards for the 2022 DLV season will be presented on Sunday January 15th 2023 at Chairs Upstairs Bar and Restaurant in East Point, GA from 2pm to 5pm.

A small amount of appetizers  and beverages will be available courtesy of the East Point Velodrome Association.

We will be awarding out rider of the year trophies to Annalise Oestreich and Ryan Collins. Along with some fun prizes.

DLV Fall 2023 Training

Sad the DLV race season is almost over? Don’t worry we have fall training planned. This year we are going to start up some fall training. Nick will be at the velodrome to lead semi-organized training every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM through October weather permitting.
