Ride of Silence Pacelines Tonight

The Ride of Silence is being held tonight, Wednesday 5/15 at 7pm at locations worldwide. The rides are held to honor our fellow cyclists that have been injured or killed on the roadways, to raise awareness of cyclists being on the roads and to ask that we all share the road.

As part of the event we will be running our regular warm-up pacelines in silence to honor our fellow cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling. We encourage everyone to wear a black arm-band to show their support of those cyclists.

Thanks to All for A Great (Though Dissapointing)Pro Race Series Event

The EPVA would like to thank everyone for coming out over the weekend to enjoy the races. We would especially like to thank Ethic, Inc. and Maxxis tires for their sponsorship of the events, all of our spectators that stuck around with us on Saturday night, only to be disappointed again by more rain. And to all of our racers, especially those that traveled for making the trek, a huge thank you. But the biggest thanks as always to all of our great volunteers, without whom we would not be able to host such great and smoothly run events, so to all those that helped out and help out the velodrome on a consistent and regular basis, THANK YOU!!

New 200m Track Record

Kevin Mansker blazed around the track last night to take his 12th lifetime track record. Kevin rode a blistering 10.727s to beat the previous record by 3 tenths of a second. Matt Baranoski came within a hairs breath of breaking the record also, riding 11.1 in his 200m. Should make for some great Keirin racing tonight! See all our record over here: http://www.dicklanevelodrome.com/pages/records.html
