Off Hours Track Sign-In (Scroll Down For Latest News)

The East Point Velodrome Association would like all of our members and visitors to start logging their off hours riding at the velodrome. We have a few goals with this from getting a better handle on our rider numbers to safety for riders who roll solo at the track.

Pursuit Night Updates & Changes

Please register before 7:00 pm (late arrivals cause delays and can even mess up someone else times, which isn't fair to that rider).

Each rider can do one TT, one Individual Pursuit, and either a Team Sprint or a Team Pursuit.

Team Events need to be registered before 7pm with rider name and number.

We have started working on a smartphone registration system for season pass holders. This will help streamiline registration and free up time to help new riders. The website is www.opentimeclock.com. First go to the bottom of the website and click: Login. Then click the blue version box. From there “clock in” using your username which is your last name, capitol first letter then your bib number. Example: Barman67. Everyone's pass word is: petelovesu. Just clock in and we will have you registered for your distances per age and category.

You may ride above the blue stahers line during racing. Please no cheering and be respectful entering and exiting the track.

Track Closed Friday April 8th

Track will be closed Friday April 8th to finish up repainting the surface. We will post later in the day whether the track will be open Saturday. Thanks for your patience as we took the time to have weekly programming this week and restart work.

Notes on New Track Surface

1. Yes, it looks awesome!
2. It's guaranteed to make you think the track is actually smoother.
3. There will be less downtime waiting for track to dry after rain.
4. Any moisture will make the track very slippery until it's dry (you shouldn't be riding on a wet track anyway....)
5. Pollen season is almost done, but annual slippery pollen warning extra important on new track surface.

Track is CLOSED until further notice!

The Track is CLOSED until further notice. We are washing and painting the track surface and the work will continue (weather permitting) until the work is completed. The workday on Saturday is still happening as we will be patching the track surface between washing and painting (and could use help doing so, please come out). This means there is no YCL, or other programming happening.

Final 2016 Workday This Saturday March 26th

We'll put the finishing touches on some on going projects and we'll need several folks to help our ongoing patching of the track surface. It's finally warm enough to patch If you still need a workday for your discount this will absolutely be your last chance to do so. Needless to say you also receive points for the ever competitive Rider of The Year competition!

Beginner's Class #1 This Weekend

Just a reminder, our first beginner's class of the year is this Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested in being ready to go as soon as we open our gates for 2016 this is the fastest way to get ON TRACK! http://www.dicklanevelodrome.com/pages/beginnerprogram.html

Track Closed March 4-8th

The track will be closed from this Saturday March 4th until Winter Training of Next Week for Apron Repair. This is a full shut down of the facility and all gates will be locked. Please adjust your training plans accordingly and share this with others as there will absolutely be no riding during this time.

2016 Season Passes On Sale Now - Race Number Reservation

Season passes for 2016 are now available at http://www.dicklanevelodrome.com/pages/store.html

This year, for anyone who purchases a One-Pass before April 1st we will include One(1) Season Spectator Pass to the Pro Race Series.

We are going to reserve race numbers in a similar manner to past years. If two people reserve the same number, preference will stay with the person who had that number last year, as long as they elect to reserve that number again, and do so before April 1st. At that time, it'll be a free-for-all first-come-first served. So get your submission on in the form below, and on the April 1st we'll let folks know if they will need to choose a different number that may have been reserved by a current number holder. Reservations are available for any number from 3-200!!

Lastly, anyone who reserves a number but does not pay for their One Pass or Weekly-Training pass by April 1st will forfeit that number. If you plan on paying as you go weekly please wait to pick your number until your first race night.
