April 3rd, 4th, and 5th
The Southeast Track Series has been a work in progress for several years. Many hours of meetings with several stakeholders has finally come to fruition with these events. The founding ideas behind this race series is to provide young racers an opportunity to compete in the same races as the National Track Championships, World Track Cups, World Track Championships, and this year’s Olympic Games. For younger racers the series provides the races they will compete in at the National Track Championships with USAC starting to require three starts at a Track Devo Race Series event to be eligible for nationals. In the future we hope to have this series as part of a larger National Track Series to help identify athletes and provide them opportunities to race the best racers in the country. Unfortunately, this race series does not have room for master’s specific races. We would love for master age riders to race this series at their category and help fill the fields for our next generation of racers to learn from their experience and have fun doing it. As with all new race series we will be evaluating what works and what doesn’t and make adjustments for the future. The goal is to provide several years of track racing to young people in hopes of creating a pathway to National, World, and Olympic participation.
