30 rider maximum for both women’s and men’s fields
USA Cycling Category: Women Pro 1/2/3 and Men Pro 1/2 for all events
The Madison is not part of the omnium.
POINTS:
International Omnium Style per USAC Rulebook 2O2(F):
40 points for each win, 38 for second, 36 for third, 34 for forth, etc.
Riders 21st and below shall each be awarded 1 point
Points Race: International Style, sprints every 10, double on the final
RAIN DATE:
In the event of a full cancellation of races on Saturday, all races will be scheduled for Sunday, September 19th dependent on the forecast for that day. No Saturday registration allowed.
RACE RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Hosted by the East Point Track Club
- USAC Insured Event, USA Cycling rules for track mass start racing will be followed, No race day license purchases
- Experienced Cat 3 track racers or better may purchase a one-day at USACYCLING.org through their member
account for $25 (must bring proof of purchase) - Helmets must be worn at all times while riding a bike
- Please note that pets are not allowed at the velodrome by East Point City Ordinance
- Registration closes at 6:30PM
- Transponders are mandatory for the amateur and pro cycling races
You may rent one for $5 or bring your own MyLaps chip. A credit card will need to be held as collateral - Overall winners for both men and women will be rewarded a custom, giant badass belt. (Think All-star wrestling big!)
