June 12 Pursuit Night

After catching some flak from somebody ::coughChristinacough:: for not being specific enough about the upcoming pursuit night, here goes.
Like the weather, we're gonna heat things up with our short individual/long team night.
Gates open for sure by 6, probably closer to 5:30 depending on when I get out of work. Signup starts at 7pm, racing starts at 7:30pm.
Two rounds of individual events. 500m ITT for Round 1, 1k ITT for Round 2.
Two rounds of team events. Each team is at least 3 people but can be no more than 4. All times/distances based on the front wheel of the 3rd person (so you can blow one person up).
Round 1 will be a FIXED TIME race -- we did this once before last year. Each race will be 5 minutes in length, two teams on the track at a time. Whistle blows periodically to you let you know the time. Teams will be spotted to the 1/4 lap for distance, whoever covers the most distance in the fixed time wins.
Round 2 will be a standard 4k team pursuit. My creativity is lacking for team events...
$5/person will cover both rounds of the individual event, and another $5/person will cover both rounds of the team event.

Carleton is correct -- there are no "category" requirements, it's just open racing.
For the short events, just racing, even if you aren't the fastest, earns you an upgrade point. For the long ones, you can get multiple points since you get paired with people closest in time.
It's probably the most painful point you'll ever earn, but pursuiting is worth it :)

Price
It is covered under season passes.
If you do all the racing, I guess it adds up to $10, but the min. price to race is $5.
I don't know the best way to put that in there.

Just to bring this back to the front.
Weather is 30% isolated thunder storms. 70% sun is good odds, and isolated means if it shows it, it will be gone quick.
So, come on out. Racing will be fun.
