Sponsorship information

The popularity of track cycling in the Atlanta area is growing rapidly. With approximately 1500 spectators at our major race events in 2015, we are working to continue to grow that number in 2016. All of our major events are open to the general public and are a great, low -cost form of entertainment. Tickets are priced at $5 for individuals and $10 for families. Our audience consists of health conscious individuals and sports enthusiasts throughout the southeast.
 

VIP & Product Display
  • Corporate sponsors are provided tickets and meals and an exclusive area for display purposes

 

Spectator Guides:
  • We distribute spectator guides at each event to keep the fans abreast of the action on the track and to help our sponsors increase brand awareness
  • Each Pro Race Series event features it’s own event guide featuring sponsors advertisements and race information.

 

Website
  • dicklanevelodrome.com had 37,806 total site visits and an average of 210 visits per day and a total of 128,540 page views during the 2015 racing season (April-September)
  • Integration with Twitter(1230 followers) and Facebook(2436 fans)

 

Growing Spectator Base
  • We had approximately 700 spectators in the 2002 season.
  • We had approximately 1,470 spectators in 2010.

 

Racers
  • Since 2000 the velodrome has seen great growth in its rider numbers. In 2000 we had 358 rider race days, for 2014(most recent available data) we had 1463 rider race days over 59 events with an average participation of 29.3 riders per event.
  • 243 unique cyclists rode at the velodrome during the 2014 season vs 63 unique riders during the 2000 season.

 

Youth Programing
  • Our Youth Cycling League program has been in operation since 2003. In 2003 we had 340 youth rider days, for 2014 (most recent available data) we had 1294 youth rider days over 62 sessions.

 

Newsletter e-mail list
  • Collected over 2,000 email addresses since EPVA’s inception. During the season our promotional emails go out approximately once a month, and approximately once a month during the off-season.

 

Media
  • Each year the velodrome is featured in the news outlets such as Atlanta
  • Journal Constitution, South Fulton Neighbor, Creative Loafing, VeloNews (a national cycling periodical), Fixed Gear Fever (a national track cycling website) and CyclingNews.com (an international cycling website).

Friends of the Youth Cycling League

The Friends of YCL is a program where participating businesses and service providers donate a portion of their receipts or labor back to support the Youth Cycling League. Initial sponsorship of $100 required.
