2014 Womens Training Program Session #2

Our second session for 2014 will be run over 3 consecutive Monday nights on August 11th, 18th and 25th. This program is aimed at any woman of any track cycling level. We will have specific skills, drills and workouts that will suit everyone from newly certified riders, through advanced track cyclists. The 5 week class will also serve as a beginners certification for those women who are new to the track.

What: 3 Week Womens Track Cycling Program
When: Monday nights 7:30pm-9:00pm beginning August 18th
Who: Women of any riding level
Equipment: Track bikes are available, just bring your cycling clothes, helmet and pedals
Cost: $60 for certification riders, $5 track session fee for certified track riders

Back for 2014 the Dick Lane Velodrome will be running a 5 week Womens Training Program on Tuesday nights starting on the 26th of February and running through the first Tuesday race night on the 1st of April. This program is aimed at any woman of any track cycling level. We will have specific skills, drills and workouts that will suit everyone from beginners, through advanced track cyclists. The 5 week class will also serve as a beginners certification for those women who are new to the track. We are expecting to split each session into 3 groups, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced with each group working on ability -specific skills during each of the sessions.

2013 Womens Try The Track Day, June 30th

Want to try riding on the track? If so, Sunday, June 30th from 2-4pm you can come out to the Dick Lane Velodrome and try it out!

Dick Lane Velodrome will provide the bike, just bring your helmet, pedals, and shoes! The clinic is free for Sorellas and $5.00 for non-Sorellas.

For women who are already certified, this is a great day to come out and do some training.

Riding on the velodrome is a lot of fun! Please take advantage of this opportunity!
