Coaches
- Jeff Hopkins USAC Level 3
- Tim Henry USAC Level 3
- Female Coach TBD
EPVA Inc will be hosting a weeklong overnight camp to be held in the East Point, GA area. The camp coordinator will be Jeff Hopkins who will also serve as Head Coach for the week, with support from 2 other coaches, Tim Henry and a female coach to be determined. The focus of the camp is to present and coach on new concepts in road racing to the junior participants, and to also introduce them to track cycling. We are planning on spend the majority of time available on the road with a secondary focus on the track, with the goal to have the participants leave with a greater knowledge of road racing concepts and also with track certification and knowledge of the basics of track cycling. Partial cost of the camp is off-set with funds from GABRA in order to reduce the cost of the camp for the participants and make it more accessible financially.
Goals
- Provide an opportunity for participants to be exposed to high level coaching and training advice to further their skill-set and knowledge of road cycling
