It was below 30 and we still had a small group come out and join us and East Points Mayor Macon in the Ride to the Capitol.
Our ride to the capitol will be leaving the Dick Lane Velodrome at 10:45am on Tuesday, March 3rd and riding via East Point City Hall, up route 29 to Hurt Park in downtown Atlanta, to join with the other rides. And then the last few blocks down to the State Capitol building. The ride length is approx. 8mi, we will be riding at speeds of approx. 12mph, and the ride should take approx. 40-45mins. Go here for more info, maps and ride cue sheet. Check out www.georgiaridestothecapitol.org for info on the rest of the rides.
Weekly Advanced Training Sessions will start up this coming Monday, March 2nd. Please check the Advanced Training for more info. Also note a new rule, if it is at or below 40deg at 6pm the training session will not be held.
