Attention: Riders - the EPVA policy now requires that all Saturday Festival of Speed racers have completed 10 days of velodrome racing in the last 3 years. ** In the event we exceed the maxium amount of riders in a field, a second points race will be created and divided equally by when you registered. The top 22 or 30 riders based on omnium points from the Scratch Race heats and Points Race heats will advance on to the remainder of the nights events. In the event of a tie between riders, the tie will be broken first by who placed the highest in either of the two events. In the event there is still a tie, the rider who placed the highest during the Friday Sprint Tournament will break the tie. All other riders who do not qualify will get a third race for the night. It will be a 20 lap scratch race that will be run later in the evening and your will race for primes collected.

All 200 meter time trials will get 2 total laps on the track. One lap to get up to speed, the second lap will be timed starting from the 200 meter line.

Every rider has the opportunity to ride at least three times regardless of qualifying for the sprint tournament or notÑwith a rep rouund a 10 and 5 lap scratch races for cash. So what do you have to lose?

ATTENTION MEN'S EXPERT AND WOMEN'S OPEN RIDERS:
The EPVA uses unique categories and this will not be a USCF race. To race at the expert level you must have raced at the Dick Lane Velodrome or similar velodrome's at least 6 times within the last year, if you are unsure, please contact Wayne Whitesides at training@dicklanevelodrome.com well in advance.

Any rider with questionable equipment or riding ability will be asked not to race at the discretion of the head official. Please do not make the Festival weekend your first racing weekend at the Dick Lane Velodrome if possible.

Promoter reserves to the right to combine fields and reduce prize list in the event of 15 or less riders per field. Race times are approximate and may change.Tie breaker: Highest placed rider in the Miss-n-out. If Miss-n-out is not raced the points race finals will be used. This is an ATRA insured event.
